Why three trades instead of one
Asphalt, concrete and drainage are usually sold by three different companies, and that causes a specific problem for homeowners. The asphalt company recommends asphalt. The concrete company recommends concrete. Neither one deals with the water that will decide how long either surface lasts.

Cracks under 3/4 inch and surface flaking across less than 20 percent of a slab are normal concrete behaviour rather than defects; past those thresholds we repair or replace. Repairs restore structural integrity rather than appearance. Settlement and shifting, de-icer and chemical damage, and misuse are excluded.
